Lisa began her career in computers working on distributed ground data systems at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA. She has done MIS and scheduling work, real-time operations support for Galileo and Voyager spacecrafts, enterprise web site support for a dot com, send mail post mastering, proposal writing, and a wide array of sys admin type tasks including DNS, LDAP, NIS+, all things Solaris with a smattering of windows and Macintosh.
Most recently she was responsible for all of the computers that perform real-time and near-real time control, monitoring and data processing for the LIGO laser interferometer in Livingston, LA.
In a previous life she was an environmental attorney. She holds a BA in English from Cal State University Los Angeles and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
