Neptune

Neptune is one of LONI's 14-node IBM Power5 clusters, running the AIX operating system and housed at the University of New Orleans. These nodes are coupled with high performance switch interconnects suitable for parallel computing. One node is used as the interactive node while the other 13 nodes serve parallel computing requests.
