SuperHelix

[ helix.cct.lsu.edu ]

SuperHelix was a 128 node Linux cluster constructed modeled after SuperMike. The system was purchased by the Biological Computation and Visualization Center and was partially funded by the Louisiana Biomedical Research Network with NIH Grant Number P20 RR16456 from the BRIN/INBRE Program of the National Center for Research Resources. SuperHelix was intended to facilitate research in the biological sciences. Given it's roots, the origins of SuperHelix's name are clear.
