SuperMike
SuperMike is a 512 node Linux cluster constructed from commodity PC hardware. Built in 2002 by Atipa Technologies, SuperMike was named after the LSU mascot Mike the Tiger.
In 2004, SuperMike was upgraded from its original specification to what is listed below. This upgrade was partially funded by the Louisiana Biomedical Research Network with NIH Grant Number P20 RR16456 from the BRIN/INBRE Program of the National Center for Research Resources.
