How to install VASP¶

LSU HPC currently holds a VASP maintenance license and provides a system-wide compiled installation of VASP on LSU and LONI HPC systems.

To use VASP on LSU or LONI HPC resources, users must be authorized VASP users registered on the official VASP Portal. Before accessing VASP on LSU/LONI HPC systems, please email us with your email address associated with your VASP Portal account.

We will verify that the provided email address is registered and authorized on the VASP Portal. Once verified, the user will be added to the VASP user group on LSU/LONI HPC systems and granted access to the system-installed VASP.
