Louisiana State University

In an effort to advance research and optimize user service, LSU's Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) and Information Technology Services (ITS) joined forces to create a support structure focused on expertise in high performance computing. Known as HPC@LSU, this organization maintains a premier computing environment, consisting of human, hardware, and software resources, for cutting edge, cross-disciplinary computational research. It's services are available to all users of HPC systems under it's management. This currently includes systems on the LSU campus and the Louisiana Optical Network Infrastructure (LONI) HPC systems.

Through this site, researchers can review the systems and services that are available, open and manage system user accounts and service unit allocations, find documentation and training materials, and obtain the customer service and support needed to effectly conduct computational studies on the systems. By virtue of it's high profile operations, HPC@LSU, helps positions Louisiana as a national leader, not only in deploying the most progressive high-tech infrastructure, but also in advancing it for scientific, engineering, arts, and business applications. HPC@LSU is focused on building the current system modernization momentum to further strengthen Louisiana's intellectual capital.

HPC@LSU provides computational resources to the LSU campus and LONI members statewide. Provided services, such as the help desk and consulting, are available to all supported users. LSU HPC resources are available to all LSU Faculty and their affiliates while LONI resources are available to all LONI Member Institution Faculty and their affilates. Click Here to learn about account policies.
